Privacy Policy

Servio — Front desk · Effective 29 September 2026

1. Who we are

Servio is run by Marclie Media d.o.o., Maksimirsko naselje II 13, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia (“Servio”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@marclie.com.

Servio is software for restaurants. A restaurant uses it to take bookings, answer its phone with an AI receptionist, and keep track of its guests. For the people who use Servio’s app or website — restaurant owners and managers — we decide how account data is used. For a restaurant’s guests and callers, we handle personal data on behalf of the restaurant, which decides what it keeps about them.

2. What we collect

If you have a Servio account

  • your name and email address, and a phone number if you give one;
  • your sign-in details — your password is never stored as readable text;
  • which restaurant you belong to and your role there;
  • on the phone app, if you allow notifications: a token that lets Apple or Google deliver notifications to your phone, and whether the phone is an iPhone or an Android device;
  • a record of important actions taken in your restaurant’s account (who did what, and when).

The Servio phone app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software, and it does not read your contacts, location, camera or photos.

If you book a table, or a restaurant keeps you as a guest

  • your name, phone number and email address, and the details of your booking;
  • your visit history, including bookings you did not arrive for;
  • notes the restaurant’s team writes about you.

If you call a restaurant that uses the Servio AI receptionist

  • your phone number, as the phone network delivers it;
  • a recording of the call, a written transcript and a summary;
  • what the receptionist did on the call — for example, made or changed a booking, or took a message;
  • if your number matches a guest the restaurant already has, the call is linked to that guest.

Every call begins with the receptionist saying that the call is recorded. If you ask not to be recorded, the receptionist stops recording, and nothing of that call is kept except what the receptionist did for you.

Text messages

Where a restaurant has switched them on, we send messages about your booking to the number you booked with, in the restaurant’s name. Every message tells you how to stop them: reply STOP.

3. Why we use it

  • to run the service: sign you in, show a restaurant its bookings, calls and guests, and send the notifications you asked for;
  • to answer calls and take bookings on a restaurant’s behalf, and show the restaurant what happened;
  • to keep the service secure and to investigate problems;
  • to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We use these companies to run Servio. Each receives only what its part of the service needs:

  • Supabase — database and sign-in
  • Vercel — the website
  • Fly.io — the phone-answering server
  • Twilio — phone calls and text messages
  • Deepgram — turning a caller’s speech into text
  • Anthropic — the AI that decides what the receptionist says and does
  • ElevenLabs — the receptionist’s voice
  • Resend — email
  • Expo, Apple and Google — delivering notifications to your phone
  • Stripe — payments, where a restaurant takes them

A restaurant’s own team can see what is kept about that restaurant’s guests and calls. Servio staff can open a restaurant’s account to set it up and to give support; every such visit is recorded. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

5. Where it is stored

Our database is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Some of the companies above process data in the United States, under their own data-processing terms.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as it is needed to provide the service to the restaurant, or for longer only where the law requires it. You can ask us to delete data about you at any time (see below).

7. Your rights

You can ask us at info@marclie.com to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. If the data is held on behalf of a restaurant, we will pass your request to that restaurant and help it respond. Depending on where you live — for example the European Union, the United Kingdom or California — you may have further rights under your local law, including the right to complain to your data-protection authority. You can turn off phone notifications at any time in your phone’s settings, and stop text messages by replying STOP.

8. Security

Each restaurant’s data is kept separate from every other restaurant’s, signing in is required to reach it, and access by Servio staff is recorded. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

9. Children

Servio is a service for restaurants and is not directed at children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell account holders when a change is significant.
